John Kennedy was the Vicar of St. Catherine's, Leyton so it is most probable that these are the registers of that

The author was Vicar's Warden of St. John's church, Leytonstone and this book contains a great deal of information about the church and parish, including a chapter on Old Residents and Residences, lists of clergy and churchwardens and extracts from historical documents.
