This is a facsimile reproduction on CD-ROM of the Calendar of King’s College, now part of the University of London, for the academic year 1876-77. It contains a great deal of information of potential value to genealogists and educational historians, including lists of staff, students, honorary fellows, proprietors and donors. It also includes information about the curriculum, fees and prizes, and examination papers. It contains information about entry to the Indian Civil Service and associated schools, particularly the King’s College School. Price: £6.95
Collections Relating to the Surname of Feather by George Marshall. CD-ROM. A facsimile reprint on CD-ROM of a work that was originally privately published in 1887. Although short, it contains a great many primary sources for the genealogy of the Feather family, mainly in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire, but also with some reference to the London branch. A facsimile reproduction on CD-ROM of John Timbs' Curiosities of London Exhibiting the Most Rare and Remarkable Objects of Interest in the Metropolis; with nearly Sixty Years' Personal Recollections . Originally published by John Camden Hotten in ca. 1867, this is a goldmine of historical information about London and the surrounding area. London in 1731 by 'Don Manoel Gonzales.' CD-ROM. A facsimile reproduction of an original publication of 1888. Fascinating description of London in the early 18th century, supposedly written by a Portuguese visitor to the city. It is thought by some that the real author was Daniel Defoe or an unidentified merchant of London. Price: £6.95

Monumental Inscriptions From St John's Wood Chapel. CD-ROM. St John's Wood Chapel was the burial ground for Marylebone in London and hundreds of thousands of people were buried there. This is a transcription of some of the relatively few who had memorials put up including the early 19th century "Prophetess," Joanna Southcott. They have been taken from A Topographical & Historical Account of the Parish of St. Mary-Le-Bone compiled and arranged by Thomas Smith (London: John Smith, 1833). Mainly early 19th century.
