A Northampton Poll Book of 1826. CD-ROM. A facsimile reproduction of a poll book (The Poll at the Election of Two Burgesses to Represent the Town and Borough of Northampton) that was originally published in 1826. Includes the names of all those eligible to vote, including many people who are described as "labourers," or "shoemakers," etc, demonstrating that the commonly held view that voters were only from the wealthier classes is something of a myth.
