ORDERING DIRECTLY FROM THE UK PAST WEBSITE. If you wish to buy an item from the UK Past site using a credit or debit card, please click on the Paypal Shopping Cart button next to the listing for the item that you wish to buy (usually to the right or immediately below the entry). The item will be transferred to your Shopping Cart, through which you can later make your payment (or cancel) during the Checkout process.

You can safely make a credit/debit card payment via the Paypal web site. If you don't have a Paypal account already, you can sign up for one in minutes if you have a valid debit or credit card. Please note that payment will be made to BIBLIOPOLIS BOOKS.

POSTAGE & PACKING. All books are posted by First Class post to addresses in the United Kingdom or by Airmail (small packet rate) to overseas addresses. Postage & packing costs are included in the price given for each item. No additional charges should be added to that price during the Checkout process, whatever the delivery address.

DELIVERY TIMES. We aim to send books out within 24 hours (i.e. one working day) of receiving payment. You will be notified by e-mail when the book has been posted or if there is any reason for delay.

PAYMENT BY CHEQUE. We accept payment by (sterling) cheque. Cheques should be drawn upon a British bank account. All cheques should be made payable to BIBLIOPOLIS BOOKS. Orders will not be dispatched until the payment has been received/cleared. Please remember to include the full delivery address when ordering by post.

UK Past is updated on a daily basis. In the unlikely event that an item is not in stock, we will contact you as soon as possible.

BUYING DOWNLOADS. Many of our eBooks are available as downloads as well as on CD. We will be expanding our range of downloadable eBooks in 2008. They have the advantage of being instantly available to customers and are normally cheaper because there are no postage and packing costs attached to them.
