UKP-LON-310. St John's Wood Chapel was the burial ground for Marylebone in London and hundreds of thousands of people were buried there. This is a transcription of some of the relatively few who had memorials put up including the early 19th century "Prophetess," Joanna Southcott. They have been taken from A Topographical & Historical Account of the Parish of St. Mary-Le-Bone compiled and arranged by Thomas Smith (London: John Smith, 1833). Mainly early 19th century. A modern Name index has been added. The text is searchable.
